Surveillance Tower – Innovative Solution for 24/7 On-Site Monitoring
At Bax Metaal, we develop smart solutions for our partners. One recent project involved the development of a surveillance tower: a 6-metre telescopic tower, specifically designed for construction sites and other locations requiring continuous camera surveillance. We fully engineered and executed the concept, from laser cutting to hot-dip galvanizing and the installation of Dibond panels.

The Project
The client required a robust, weather-resistant tower that is easy to transport and quick to install. In addition, the tower needed to be modular, allowing it to be easily expanded with additional equipment. Our team worked closely with the client to develop a design that met all these requirements.

Production Process:

• Engineering
  We started with a brainstorming session based on the client’s sketches and ideas. During this phase, we ensured that the design not only met the functional requirements but could also be manufactured efficiently. Smart solutions were implemented, such as pin-and-hole connections, allowing the tower to be assembled quickly and accurately. This approach enabled us to stay within the defined budget.

• Laser Cutting of Sheets and Tubes
  Using our advanced tube and sheet laser cutting systems, we manufactured all components to precise specifications. This ensures a strong, stable construction with minimal play in the telescopic section. As a result, the camera remains stable at height, which is essential for reliable surveillance performance.

• Assembly
  The laser-cut components were carefully welded into a solid base and telescopic mast. The design allows the tower to be installed and transported with ease.

• Hot-Dip Galvanizing
  To ensure long-term weather resistance, all components were hot-dip galvanized. This protects against corrosion and significantly extends the service life of the tower.

• Final Assembly
  The tower was finished with lightweight, durable Dibond panels, providing additional protection and a professional appearance without adding unnecessary weight. In addition, the electrical cabinet was made watertight to optimally protect the electronics from external weather conditions.

Ready for Camera Installation
After completion of the production process, the surveillance tower is ready for transport to the customer. On site, the tower is equipped with cameras and cabling. Thanks to our complete preparation, the tower can be deployed immediately, without delays.

The final product is a robust and durable surveillance tower that has proven itself at various locations. Its flexible and low-maintenance design makes it a valuable asset for construction and security sites where safety and oversight are critical.
